Faux Rust Technique

October Technique #2 -- Faux Rust.  I saw this idea on Pinterest and made it my own.  It's so easy, but so cool!  Stamp a little Gorgeous Grunge with Cajun Craze, sponge with Tip Top Taupe and we have rust!  Really it is that simple.  Check out my video below.

Tunnel Fold Card Technique

It's technique time!  Today's card is a fun fold card -- tunnel fold.  Any shape could be used in the center -- circle, oval, heart, snowman -- the list is endless.  The color combination works well (as a Wisconsinite, I was criticized for these colors, they are not Green Bay Packer colors, rather Chicago Bears colors -- oops!).

Below is the video and list of supplies.  Enjoy!

Thinking of You Leaves

Another fall card using a different color combination.  Blackberry Bliss and Crushed Curry.  The swish from the Work of Art stamp set is the perfect background for the leaves and the sentiment.  The woodland embossing folder add just the right amount of texture.

This is one of the cards we made in our Stamp-A-Stack class.  Interested in joining a class?  See class schedule or email me to let me know when you would like to attend.

Acorny Birthday

Nice fall birthday card.  I love the way the Into the Woods Designer Series Paper matches the Acorny Thank You and Acorn Builder Punch.  As I was looking through my designer papers, I forgot that I had the corrugated cardstock.  It works perfectly for the base of the acorn.  The birthday greeting is a hostess set called Happy Birthday, Everyone.

Are you interested in holding your own workshop to earn this pretty birthday stamp?  Feel free to email me.

Sleigh ride in the Fall

Thinking out of the box with dies is what I did with this one.  I used the tree die in Sleigh Ride Edgelits Dies to get the wavy design.  then embossed the Mossy Meadow with the Softly Falling Textured Impressions Embossing Folder. Next inserted a piece of English Garden Designer Series Paper and added a couple of Lighthearted leave and gold cord, and I have nice fall card!
